Job Summary

The Administrative Support – Clinical & Medical Leadership position provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Medical Director, Director of Clinical Operations, and the Clinical Leadership Team in a fast-paced Community Health Centre in downtown Edmonton. This role is central to ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of clinical leadership, supporting office operations, provider panel management, and coordination of clinical and administrative activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented and can proactively take on vital tasks that help keep things running smoothly. The role requires discretion, strong communication and calendar management skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position offers valuable experience supporting senior clinical leadership and contributing to service delivery for marginalized and underserved populations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Executive Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Medical Director, Director of Clinical Operations, and Clinical Leadership Team, including calendar management, scheduling, communications, and routine administrative tasks
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track follow-up actions or communications
  • Draft letters, reports, and other documentation as requested
  • Maintain organized filing systems, detailed record keeping, and accurate data entry
  • Accurate expense tracking and timely reporting
  • Act as a liaison to stakeholders, leaders, and the rest of the Radius team

Office & Operational Support

  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing email in the info@radiushealth.ca inbox
  • Coordinate with other administrative team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication

 

Clinical Operations & Panel Management

  • Provide administrative support related to provider (physician and nurse practitioner) panel management, including maintaining accurate records and supporting panel-related workflows
  • Assist with tracking, compiling, and reporting clinical and operational data using Excel and other tools
  • Support data collection and documentation to assist clinical leadership with planning and decision-making

 

General

  • Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality of clinical, personnel, and organizational information
  • Support a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative workplace
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, or related field is an asset
  • Previous experience in a health care or community-based setting
  • Experience in an administrative role that reports to executive management and/or supporting clinical teams
  • Experience with panel management, data tracking, reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of applications
  • Experience with Canva, Visio is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Police Information Check including the Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Child Intervention Record Check
